Sparkling French Champagne Le Brun Servenay Melodie en C Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru wine
Serve it chilled. Located in Avize, in the heart of the Cote des Blancs, the Champagne House Le Brun Servenay has been managed since 1996 by Patrick Le Brun, supported in recent years by his son Gauthier, the fifth generation of this renowned family of winemakers. The estate extends over approximately 7 hectares of vineyards, at least 80% of which are planted with Chardonnay, and spread across 3 Grand Cru villages.
Here, the clay-limestone soils with good drainage guarantee the production of fresh and mineral wines. The Melodie en C Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru is an elegant and delicate Champagne produced with only Chardonnay grapes that rests on its lees for years before disgorgement. This Blanc de Blancs has a lively and fresh aromatic profile with notes of citrus, apple, and white flowers, followed by a light iodine vein.
On the palate, it is soft and lean, with a marked acidic vein and a strong mineral character. It is balanced and vibrant with a long and persistent finish and a very pleasant and fine mousse. Served chilled, it makes a classy aperitif, but it also pairs very well with oysters and sushi.

Sparkling French Champagne Larmandier Bernier Vieilles Vignes du Levant Grand Cru Extra Brut 2014 wine
Serve chilled. Biodynamic Champagnes are still difficult to find, but this sensational Grand Cru from the Larmandier family is proof that working in harmony with Mother Nature can produce exceptional results. Pierre and Sophie converted the estate to biodynamic and organic agriculture over twenty years ago and their dedication to winemaking as a work of nature is clear in every bottle they craft.
This old vine Champagne is sourced from their Cramant Grand Cru vineyards where the east-facing slopes tend to produce especially rich and concentrated grapes. Such are the complexities of producing top quality grapes here that this particular cuvee is only made during the very finest vintages. Following the harvest, the grapes are carefully picked by hand, pressed and then fermented directly in wood casks.
The maturation process then begins with a total of 7-8 years spent maturating on the lees. The family has chosen to produce this Champagne as an Extra Brut, meaning that it has a very low dosage, to create a crisp, refreshingly dry taste. In the glass you’ll immediately notice the pale gold color with fine, persistent bubbles.
On the nose it offers aromas of citrus, white flowers, and toasted bread, while on the palate, it has a creamy texture with flavors of lemon zest, green apple, and hints of minerality.

Sparkling French Champagne Laurent Perrier La Cuvee wine
Located in Tours-sur-Marne and founded in 1812, Laurent Perrier is one of the most famous Champagne houses in the world. Its popularity actually bursted with the arrival of Bernard de Nonancourt in the late 1940s, thanks to the changes he brought to the Maison and the choice to favor Chardonnay in its cuvees. The Cuvee de Laurent-Perrier is a blend of mostly Chardonnay with the addition of Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier.
There is also a variable quantity between 15 and 30% of reserve wines. The wine rests on its lees for at least four years.

Sparkling French Champagne Le Brun Servenay Grand Cru Vieilles Vignes Blanc de Blancs 2012 wine
Serve it chilled. Founded in 1965 by the union of two winemaking families, the Champagne house Le Brun Servenay has been a family business for four generations, today managed by Gauthier Le Brun. The vineyards extend over approximately 7 hectares in the heart of the Cote des Blancs, occupied mainly by Chardonnay and a small part by Pinot Noir and Meunier.
The Chardonnay grapes come from old Grand Cru vineyards between 80 and 100 years old located in Avize, Cramant, and Oger. After vinification, the wine rests on the lees for 9 years.
